It’s fall y’all, but you knew that. It has been plastered on every single thing you’ve seen for the past two months. From hashtags to porch décor, store ads, the grocery store, and even your local coffee shop, it’s everywhere. And while people are already swiftly trying to switch our gears into Christmas mode, it’s still fall!!!! I’m holding on to every little bit of it that I can.
My favorite season is actually summer. I have two daughters born in the summer, and to me it just signifies fun. Although we don’t live near a NICE beach, I love beach weather. I’ll admit the summer heat can be a bit draining, but on any given day, I’d rather be hot than cold. Luckily, in the earlier parts of fall, we get a bit of that perfect weather. You know the kind where you can throw on a light sweatshirt and cut-off shorts. Yes, I’m a mom, but distressed shorts are still my thing!
You know what else is my “thing” about fall? Fashion! I absolutely love it. Search fall fashion on Pinterest, and see how quickly you’ll be to throw on a scarf, hat, boots, dark nail polish, and sunnies with a PSL in hand. LOL! You pictured it. I know you did. LOL! I absolutely love it!
No matter what season it is, I always look forward to switching up my nail polish and lipsticks. I like dark in the fall and winter, soft pastels in the spring, and bold bright colors in the summer.
Whereas my nails may not require as much maintenance, my lips surely do. I don’t know about you guys, but as soon as the weather starts to get chilly, I find myself reapplying my chap stick more throughout the day. There is nothing worse than dark lipstick, or any lipstick for that matter, on dry lips. LOL!

For daily moisture, I use Vaseline Lip Therapy cocoa butter. I also love Aquaphor Lip Repair during the day. At night, I wear Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. Just as I prime my face for makeup, I also prime my lips for lipstick. I like the MAC Prep & Prime
